"I can say that it is a very useful practice because it permits to use and to remember so many glossary related with the practice of personal and the others descriptions. Also I can learn and improve my skills, specially my writing skill.

All the topics are interesting, but i think for working them it`s necessary to know how operate the computer because if the user cann`t manage the equipment it`s imposible to work with these kind of helps.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, the topic that most i liked is "multiple intelligences" because this lesson allows learners to acquire and practice the English knowledge through different manners such as:kinetic, music, art and other types of intelligences doing the learning process more agreable.

ReplyDeleteAbout the lesson plans I think that they are extremily useful for us to improve our labor as ESL teachers, since they offer us another and a fresh view of planning work.
I really liked the advice they give, in one of the lesson plans, for working on questions. I realized that teachers are not the ones who can make questions always, students can do it, too.

ReplyDeleteI´m very happy to come back again to the University of Cauca. I studied there 23 years ago. I remember to all my english teachers with a special kind and in this moment y thank you for letting me to study english again. I have been reading the english lesson plans and they remember me the importance of plannig our english classes, every class,the importance of using different estrategies in order to our students learn english in a pleasure way, the importance of studying english all days in order to improve our deficiencies.
I liked very much the english lesson plan related with the use of the songs in our english casses. I think they motivate very much to the students. I also listened the converstaions in the audio-videos and the way some persons learned to communicate in englih.

Profesera Hola, soy Isabel Ararat, Respecto a esta clase de actividad los estudiantes Deben manejar las estructuras gramaticales en forma bien clara, yo comenzaría con cuentos muy cortos IR Y así Aplicando el cuestionario Sugiere usted que, luego de varias lecturas llegaría a la producción del ensayo, lo que no entiendo es dados Porque "no le gustaba" o será mala traducción. Creo que le falta preguntara porqué recomendaría el cuento o libro.

ReplyDeleteI saw interesting ativities for developing with my students, I liked grammar chants, they are fun and they can improve the studied grammar. They are apropiate to motive the students participation in any level besides with repetition is easier to learn structures and vocabulary.

ReplyDeleteVirginia, I liked the lesson plan page. The thing which caught mostly my attention was: DAYLY ENGLISH LESSON – HOMEBODY. This lesson includes a text that you can read and listen to, the meaning and use of the expression Homebody and the use of it. The text is about what Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian’s husband says about his wife (I like everything about show business). He says “she´s more of a HOMEBODY that a party girl”. (Homebody: Someone who prefers to stay at home; someone who doesn´t go out). I liked this topic because I am a Homebody. My husband and I prefer to stay and spent all the time at home relaxing, watching movies, talking, sharing each other, making crafts, turning our house in to a more welcoming place for us than to go out. So, we are a ‘homebody couple’.

Unfortunately, when I left the university and I began to work, I stopped writing, I did not write anymore and that`s very bad because in our labor We should produce texts, We should write about something or about our daily activities. These exercises are very important because with them i can share very funny spaces with my students. In the last class we read about the climate ( are we changing our climate?) It was great, now they feel that they can speak using some vocabulary and they express their oppinions about the topic. we are happy.

as teacher it is relevant to ditiguish how many students in class are are more visual than others or why there are students learning easily if the are stimulate by different ways. that's because teachers must be attentive to the students in order to prepare material acording to their needs and personal abilities they have.

ReplyDeleteI have been watching the lesson plans, and I found a lot of intersting aspects that are fucussed on different topics of the English teaching.
I think that I need more time to go deep into the web page in order to see the way how I can integrate some of the strategies offered there to my English teaching practice.
I really liked aspects in the page like games, printables, videos, tests, grammar topics, daily lesson- homebody, and any other themes that this page offers us.
