ReplyDeleteI want to say that i explored Bunny Bonita activities and i could realize that there are very new methods which can be implemented in order to facilite student´s learning.
Bunny Bonita for example, it is an useful aid to put it into practice in the teaching-learning process of a foreing language because develops basic elements of english such as: colors, greetings, e.t.c. to help little children become familiar with the new language.

Bunny nice project for teaching basic English to children from 4-8 years, which emphasizes grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary as well as the colors in each of the illustrations that allows children to have fun and learn in a happy way, it is another form of learning that as teachers we must consider in the development of our daily activities.
ReplyDeleteBasic standards of foreign language skills for teaching English to children and young people, enabling relationships with others and develop greater linguistic competence as well as encourages the student to understand new cultures and promote cultural exchange. The student has the character Opportunity to develop social skills and learn other aspects of language is learned.
The standards allow us a better organization for each aspect in each grade.

ReplyDeleteThere have been immense advances in technology in most aspects of people’s lives, especially in the field of education. Nowadays, an increasing number of students rely on computers for research and to produce a perfect paper for school purposes. Others have decided to leave the original way of learning and to get knowledge through online schools. These changes in the learning process have brought a special concern regarding the possible decrease of importance of teachers in the classroom. But any machine can not replace the human beings because we build them.

ReplyDeleteIn the Educational Institution Calibío where I work, there are 15 computers, a television, a VH and a video-beam. In my classes I have not used none of these technologies because I don't have the enough training to manage them, the room of systems also remains busy most of the time.
In my classes, the students need to practice the oral expression and to improve the pronunciation.
I could use the technology in my classes, using different options:
- The internet, since has a great variety alternatives, as games, interactive exercises, evaluations, etc.
- The courses in format of CD.
I consider that the use of the technology in English's teaching is very important, because the teachers should go at the same time with the scientific and technological advances, to satisfy the necessities of the students.
The computers cannot replace the teacher in the teaching, especially in the levels of elementary school and high school, because the students are in formation process. The classes with the teacher's orientation, favor the boy's intellectual, social and psychological development, that which cannot be achieved through the computer.

www.colombiaaprende.edu... is a very good page, in it we can find interesting things for teachers.This web page is a good way for professional teachers who want to know the last things in education field, besides,it contains many topics,information and things that other people are doing, so, we can take many of them, and to put in practice in our sdhool.It is important too because we can share experiences and all kind of things that we do in the classroom.
ReplyDeleteI've just been dismissed from a state school and I started working in a private one this week, but I'm still enrolled in this training course. I've forgotten how it was in the private issues, but during this week I've seen the enormous differences there are. There, we don't have to worry about teaching basic things as in public schools, but we are obbliged to work on rising the students english level as the impossible. That's paradoxically funny, because now that I have a systems lab for my english class, I can apply the advices taken from the training course, not in a public but in a private school.

ReplyDeleteThere are plenty of resourses that we can find in Colombia aprende Web, it is the way that MEN try to encourage us to improve our teaching skills and to offer us some technological resourses available for everyone. I think we should choose, adapt and carry out these resourses, and the others we can find in the web, in our classrooms. We should learn to teach and teach to learn.

ReplyDeleteAbout the activity of April 24th, I want to tell you that I used the link you gave us to visit the website of Ministry of Education. There I found some interesting information about english teaching in our country and some resources teachers may use. Unfortunately my p.c couldn't download the english course B. Bonita and, although I guess it's just for children, I'll keep trying.
On the other hand, it was very useful to know some websites where teachers and students may take english courses for free. I have been telling my pupils about that, and encouraging them to sign up for one of them.
That's a really effective way of using technology in education.

ReplyDeleteThis page of the Ministry is very interesting, it has many oppportunities for teachers, I can find many information, resources and any kind of instruments for learning and if we use this material the english teaching would be better.
The Bunny Bonita is a funny and interesting method for developing with students not only children but teenagers too. Some exercises support the grammar, vocabulary and give confidence to the students.

Very good the proyect by to teach English to students of four to eight years. I like the grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. How to use the colors and the ilustrations.
They are good by the daily activities.
I say that the use the technology is very important in English teaching but in my institution it´s not possible by the horary. The computer can not reemplace to the teachers because is important the interaction.

Last week my first and second grade's students and me had the opportunity to enter web page of Ministry of Education and meet us with Bunny Bonita Program, together, enjoy, share, learn new knowledges,for example greetings and using different expressions while review basic concepts of english as Second Language. It look me grandious because it's designed to children, let us deep in grammar, pronouncing and vocabulary.
The program besides has the general purpose to help students and teachers in order to develop competitions suggested by standars of MEN for first to fifth grades in Primary.
Thank you for let us to discover new horizonts into teaching field.

The National Ministry web page is an important mean of information and knowledge for all the Colombian teachers. There is a special site for english teachers. Bunny Bonita allows to the children between 4 and 8 years learn vocabulary in English related to greetings, numbers, to receive and give simple information about one self and others, memberS of the family, animals, colors, etc. It deepens in grammar and pronunciaciación about these aspects.

ReplyDeleteThis time, I foccused my attention in a very actual theme, "the world cup". The soccer is a passion for almost everyone, and if we use it in our classes like colombia aprende has done, we can have more probabilities to do a better work. I like this sort of things because when a teacher use interesting elements in the class, the students are going to be motivated, so, learning will be easier.
Of course this is just a minimum part of the site. We can find many other interesting resources like Bunny Bonita or Yes.
